Jason's Vineyard 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon (North Fork of Long Island)

There's a one-dimensional tartness and cranberry-like edge to this Long Island Cabernet that's hard to transcend. Notes of spice and plum are faint and there's a slight lingering finish, but in general, the wine needs more heft and integration. Susan Kostrzewa
