Jean Becker 2016 Froehn Grand Cru Riesling (Alsace)

The scented, ethereal and almost medicinal headiness of dried, crushed chamomile rises from the glass, folding notions of apple and dried lemon peel in its fragrance. The concentrated and sinuous palate of this wine carries all of these ethereal notions in a streamlined, focused body that is held by citrus freshness. This wealth of flavor leads to a bone-dry finish. Anne Krebiehl MW
