Jean León 2005 Viña Propia Cabernet Sauvignon (Penedès)

Thin and saline on the nose, with a chemical-chlorine smell. The palate is fairly sour and raw, with tough tannins and a killer grip. As a whole, the mid-level flavors don't taste like much, and the finish is clamp-down tight. Michael Schachner
