This perfumed, decadently spiced expression of Châteauneuf-du-Pape is an intriguing offering from a producer better known as a master of Cornas. While freshly balanced by lifts of crushed stone and salt, it's a generous dry white marked by ample white peach and quince flavors. Vinified and matured in French oak (15% new), it's a piquant, powerful sip accented by generous streaks of brioche, toffee and smoked nut. Ready to drink now, but should mature well through 2030.
