Jeff Cohn 2016 Dealmaker Red (California)

Big but smooth, this full-flavored wine layers tasty blackberry and black cherry over hints of vanilla, mint and dark chocolate for a complex and enticing character overall. It is full bodied, moderately tannic and well balanced on a big scale. Jeff Cohn made it with 80% Zinfandel and 20% Petite Sirah, so it could have been labeled as Zin. Jim Gordon
