Jekel 2003 Merlot (Monterey)

Polished cherry, blackberry and coffee fruit flavors comprise this Merlot. It's bone dry, with rich tannins and a smattering of oak. Has a jagged quality that's not likely to age out, but it's a pretty good wine.
