Jerusalem Wineries 2013 4990 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Judean Hills)

Deep red-violet in the glass, this wine has a nose of black cherry, smoked meat and a hint of green pepper. It is a well-balanced wine with sturdy tannins and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, anisette, violet and ground black pepper. The finish is characterized by a touch of orange peel and a sense of salinity. Mike DeSimone
