A bouquet of black currant and flint sets the stage for flavors of black plum, cassis, dark chocolate and smoked meat. This wine is bright on entry, followed by deep spicy flavors set into a web of strong but not overbearing tannins. Brightness returns with a splash of acidity on the finish.
