Hailing from the winery's young estate vineyard, this 100% varietal wine brings aromas of cocoa, vanilla and cherry—with the barrel influence initially playing prominently. The flavors are jammy, supple and palate coating, bringing a sense of texture and gravitas. The variety seems to get a little lost in the oak and ripeness but it still brings plenty to enjoy.
