This cuvée is made with 50% whole clusters, and aged 15 months in 30% new French oak. It's a thin wine, especially for such a ripe vintage, and tart to the edge of sour. With ample breathing time, flavors of sour cherries coalesce and gain some heft, with a touch of mocha in the finish.
