Johan grows biodynamically farmed grapes, and generally employs such techniques as native yeast and minimal intervention. The wines, as is the case here, tend to be quite low in alcohol. This offers precise flavors of wild berry, accented with allspice and a toasty note from aging in 30% new French oak.
