Johann Donabaum 2003 Loibner Garten Smaragd Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

Shows the ripeness of the vintage and its late-harvested style in its full weight and round, mouthfilling texture, but retains its essential Grüner-ness, combining spicy white pepper and celery leaf notes with just enough stone fruit. Long on the finish, where it adds a dose of minerality. Joe Czerwinski
