Johnnie Walker Black Label 12 Year Old Blended Whisky

The opening aromas are firm, mature and biscuity; seven minutes in the copita allow this lovely blend to accentuate the subtle, sea breeze-like, saltine-like virtues even more. Palate entry is peaty and oily; by midpalate, the island/salty/baked bread influence of Talisker is undeniable. Finishes with a kiss of dark caramel. P.P.
