Johnnie Walker Blue 1805 Blended Scotch Whisky

The first nosing passes find fruity aromas with a dash of sweet oak; aeration dries out the fruitiness while oaky astringency and bean-like vanilla characteristics prevail. The palate entry is parchment-like, nutty and mildly toasty; at midpalate the flavor profile is Sherry- and honey-like. Finishes semisweet, medium sappy/piney and compellingly warm. Available via auction only. P.P.
