Johnson Ridge 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon (Walla Walla Valley (WA))

Cherry, plum, vanilla, cedar and green herb aromas are followed by plump yet restrained fruit and barrel flavors that trail out on the finish. Though aged in only 40% new oak, the wood character seems a bit overbearing. Sean P. Sullivan
