88pointsJoleté 2017 Le Verre Cuvée Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

This remains rather stiff, herbal and tannic at this early stage. Made of wines from three Willamette Valley AVAs, it has more green flavors than ripe fruit, though the balance is fine. As it's young and was bottled under a screw cap, it would benefit from aggressive aeration prior to drinking. Paul Gregutt
