Jorge Ordóñez & Co. 2006 Old Vines No. 3 Moscatel (Málaga)

Oxidized and thick as a bull's neck, with apricot and funk on the nose. This is thick, sticky, unctuous stuff that tastes like canned peaches and orange extract. Grows on you the more time you spend with it, but it's on its own island with no row boat in sight. Michael Schachner
