Josef Jamek 2017 Ried Achleiten Federspiel Grüner Veltliner (Wachau)

The nose of this wine is shy at first, giving just a faint idea of yeastiness. As it opens, creamy green pear notes become apparent. The concentrated palate suggests pear and peppery herbs like arugula and watercress. It's all bundled in a lovely, svelte body. Anne Krebiehl MW
