Joseph Cattin 2009 Vendanges Tardive Pinot Gris (Alsace)

Although the producer indicates that this is a medium-sweet wine, it does seem to be sweeter than that. The concentration of berry, raisin and dried apricot flavors, and the layers of honey accentuate the sweetness. It's a wine to be drunk now, although it will age well until 2020. Roger Voss
