Joseph Cattin 2021 Gewurztraminer (Alsace)

If you close your eyes and nose this wine, you'd be forgiven for thinking you're sitting on fresh-cut grass with a bag of peach gummies. The aromas are intense and lovely. Some light carbonation creates a full, creamy mouth feel that adds to this playful intensity. The finish is a bit abrupt, leaving behind an herbaceous imprint—this wine is here for a good time, not a long time. Layla Schlack
