Joseph Drouhin 2002 Clos des Mouches Premier Cru (Beaune)

Drouhin owns more than 75% of this vineyard, which they've made famous around the globe. Slightly stinky when first poured, this opens into a beautiful glass of Burgundy, delivering black cherries, minerals and exotic spice notes in waves of wonderfully silky fruit. Great length on the finish. Drink now–2015, or beyond, depending on your preferences.
