Joseph Drouhin 2003 Clos de Mouches Blanc (Beaune)

Intensely fruity, with layers of fresh ripe peaches and hints of grilled fruit. There are also traces of roasted nuts, vanilla and smoke, making this one pleasurable and complex experience. Nicely expansive and textured in the mouth; the only quibble is that it falls away quickly on the finish. Imported by Dreyfus, Ashby & Co. Joe Czerwinski
