While subtle on the nose, this steely yet textural Chardonnay exemplifies Chablis in a ripe vintage. Flavors of pear and lemon flirt with tropical notes of pineapple and mango but are anchored by a firm undertow of briny, salty minerality. Full and powerful in concentration, it's best to hold until 2025 and should reward well through 2040. Anna Lee C. Iijima
