Joseph Jewell 2016 Eel River Valley Pinot Noir (Humboldt County)

Cellar Selection

Charming fruit flavors and great structure come together in this very appealing, well-balanced and concentrated wine. The aroma bursts with red cherry, black cherry and black currants while the flavors add nuances of rhubarb, mild spices and black tea for a complex, delicious effect overall. The wine is full bodied and well scaffolded by moderate tannins and fresh-tasting acidity. Best after 2022. Jim Gordon
