83pointsJoseph Roty 2004 Rosé (Marsannay)

Marsannay is the only commune in Burgundy known at all for its rosés, and this example does stand out as being different. Herbal, lavender-like aromas lead off, followed by a wine that features slightly tomatoey flavors. Light in body, it finishes sappy and fresh. Joe Czerwinski
