Half of the grapes in this wine were fermented on the skins for almost a month and aged in old barrels, offering something completely different from the producer's standard wine from this varietal. Indeed orange in color, it veers metallic on the palate, before relaxing into a mix of honey and preserved lemon—the texture somewhat unctuous despite a restrained level of alcohol.
