88pointsJoullian 2017 Rosé (Monterey)

A richer style of rosé made from the traditional saignée method, this darker-hued wine shows loads of red cherry, cola, earth and vanilla on the nose. It's ripe on the palate, but it works, with black cherry and more vanilla flavors that are enticing and cut by decent acid. Matt Kettmann
