Black plum and boysenberry aromas come with notes of grass and latex. On the palate, this Monastrell from a cool, tough vintage is bulky, with hard tannins. Foxy, woody flavors of berry fruits are topped with clove and spice, while the finish is oaky, toasty, chocolaty and ultimately a touch bitter.
