Judd's Hill 2007 Merlot (Napa Valley)

A good, fruity but rustic wine. Raw tannins frame flavors of blackberries, cherries and sandalwood, with a touch of bacon. Could conceivably develop bottle nuances, but it's probably best opened soon.
