Julien Schaal 2018 Kastelberg Grand Cru Schiste Riesling (Alsace)

A subtle nose shimmers with nuances of apricot, peach, passion fruit, creamy lemon and something like wet pebble. The palate of this wine is fluid but linear, juicy, concentrated and tingling with freshness and ripeness. It's a subtle wine with a concentrated, firm, fresh and vivid core of fruit ripeness. The finish is dry and long. Anne Krebiehl MW
