Junta 2010 Grand Reserve Cabernet Franc (Curicó Valley)

This is more generic than varietally familiar, but that doesn't mean it's not a nice red wine with full plum, berry and oak aromas. A firm, tannic palate is home to big flavors of lemon peel, wood resin, savory spice and roasted berries. A woody, spicy finish shows a touch of Cab Franc's well-known leafy side. Michael Schachner
