89pointsJustin 2004 Petit Verdot (Paso Robles)

There's a fine red Bordeaux wine somewhere in here, and all it needs is a little time to express itself. Right now, it's tannic and tight. But then the enormous core of fruit detonates on the palate, exploding in cherries and blackberries, wrapped into firm, ripe tannins. Should have a nice little window, between 2007–2010.
