This traditional Bordeaux-style blend is pretty tight and closed right off the bat, so if you're going to try and enjoy it now, definitely decant or give it some time to breathe after opening. However, once it opens up, waves of black plum and cassis are layered with intense notes of cigar box spice and leather, all of which carry through to the big, firmly structured and fully gripping palate.
