Mikael Sigouin extracts the rich side of Grenache in most of his bottlings, and this is an excellent example. Deep and stunning aromas of lilac, cola, red cherries, strawberry-balsamic glaze, black cardamom and sharp sandalwood lead into a palate that's lavish with chai spice, dried ginger and cherry-cordial flavors. Tannins pile up toward the finish and the acidity sings through it all.
