Kana does a bit better with this concentrated Malbec which shows very tart blackberry, licorice and roasted espresso flavors. There's plenty of acid to balance out the big fruit and alcohol, and the tannins have been well managed. This appears to be a wine that could well improve with up to five years of cellaring. Right now it's very tight.
