Kate Arnold 2017 Daffodil Hill Pinot Noir (Eola-Amity Hills)

This is quite pretty, with aromatics of sweet cherry and a whiff of tobacco. In the mouth those flavors firm up with the support of juicy acidity. The tannins carry a drying, breakfast tea finish, and with aeration a hint of mint emerges. This is an immediately appealing style and may be enjoyed through 2024. Paul Gregutt
