Deep red violet in the glass, this wine features aromas of blackberry, licorice and lavender. The tannins come in strong but recede within moments, revealing flavors of dark plum, blackberry, baking spices and chocolate. A note of bright cranberry near the finish is followed by mouth-drying tannins that linger with a touch of spice.
