From Nelson, a wine region just west of Marlborough at the top of the South Island, this is textbook New Zealand Sauvignon, in all its refreshment and fruitiness. It bursts with citrus, pineapple, grass, florals and a touch of salt. The palate is slippery, dry, crisp and fruity. Knock it back on a warm summer's day. Christina Pickard
