Kawarau Estate 2005 Reserve Pinot Noir (Central Otago)

Classic aromas of black cherry and plum are framed by dried spices and vanilla, adding some cedar and mocha flavors on the palate. The mouthfeel is crisp and taut, finishing tart and fresh, without the velvety richness of the best examples, but it's a solid effort. Joe Czerwinski
