85pointsKeenan 2002 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Spring Mountain District)

My first impression was how sweet and soft this wine is. But it's not really sweet, just ripe in jammy fruit and young, caramelly oak. It's also pretty tannic. Keenan's regular '02 is actually more rewarding, and I don't think this rather ungainly Reserve will surpass it.
