Kehret 2018 Aureate Red (El Dorado)

Editors' Choice

Excellent fruit concentration and tasty, judicious oak spices are ably supported by moderate tannins in this full-bodied, well-structured wine. Blackberries and black cherries are dusted with cocoa and nutmeg accents. This makes two out of two stand-out wines Wine Enthusiast has reviewed from newcomer Kehret, where Steve Leveque is master winemaker. Best from 2024. Jim Gordon
