Ken Brown 2017 Sanford & Benedict Vineyard Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Full-bodied aromas of blackberry and black raspberry pick up nutmeg and mace spice on the rich nose of this bottling. It's fairly big-boned and ripe on the palate too, where plum-sauce and cranberry-compote elements meet with orange-rind flavors. Matt Kettmann
