Kenwood 2001 Reserve Chardonnay (Russian River Valley)

Opens with a blast of well-toasted oak, vanilla, caramel and char, and oak dominates the palate through the finish. Underneath is some ripe peach and pear fruit. The texture is soft and creamy.
