Kessler-Haak 2011 Pinot Noir (Sta. Rita Hills)

Right now, the wine is tart in acidity and tannic, although the ripe cherry and red currant flavors are obvious and delicious. The oak influence is strong. The wine doesn't seem to be a longterm ager, but it should benefit from cellaring until 2017.
