This wine is a blend of Grenache (60%), Mourvèdre (32%) and Syrah hailing from the Upland, Boushey, and Sugarloaf vineyards. It opens with enticing aromas of citrus peel, smoke and peppery spices, with red and black fruit lurking in the background. It's full bodied but still remarkably fresh, showing luxurious dark-fruit flavors that linger on the smooth, elegant finish.
