This shows power and richness with a bit of finesse as well. Accompanying a deep, dark hue are equally dense aromas of black cherry and blackberry, cola, cocoa and a hint of dried herbs. The palate comes with chewy tannins and more plush fruit, but this well-structured wine should come into its own with great dignity soon enough. Drink 2020–2032.
