Kim Crawford 2004 Pinot Gris (Marlborough)

Smells like pear nectar, but it's close to dry tasting, with bold pear and apple flavors accented by hints of fresh herbs. Medium in weight, with a long, refreshing finish. Should prove very versatile at the table; serve as an apéritif, with seafood or white meats. Joe Czerwinski
