This Pinot takes a few minutes to open up, yet when it does it smells like dusting polish and Dr. Pepper. The palate is more subtle with a good lick of acidity and chewy tannins finishing on dark cherry fruit. It's not the most typical example of this region or grape variety, but it has its charms nonetheless.
