KIng Chancho 2017 Bandito's Blood Red (Central Coast)

Tart cranberry, black plum, wet gravel and a hint of licorice show on the nose of this bottling, an ode to a famous wild boar that consumed the murdered body of a feared Central Coast bandit. The palate is fresh but sweet, with red-fruit and light caramel flavors. Matt Kettmann
