King Estate 2015 Backbone Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley)

Sourced from five vineyards, this is a tart, tightly focused wine with a core of ripe black-cherry fruit. The acidity is plentiful, adding highlights of orange peel to the mix. Decant if drinking over the next couple of years, or tuck it away for a bit more bottle age. Paul Gregutt
